Way back when I remembered lots of my blogger friends talking about selling LuLaRoe leggings and dresses. I was like more power to you but no way I could imagine wearing those very wild and colorful leggings. This is New York City we are the land of black everything including leggings. What I did not know was that it was a multi-level marketing operation and that they had to buy $5,000 yes, $5,000 of clothes upfront to become a seller.

Now on Amazon Prime, there is a documentary “LuLaRich” that investigates the clothing company, LuLaRoe, best known for their “magic” and “buttery soft” leggings hawked on Facebook by (primarily) women whose lives were ruined by this multi-level marketing scam.

Definitely worth watching and best of all it’s only 4 episodes.

Would love to hear if you have a friend or family member who was a seller?
