Are you a Bridgerton fan? Unless you are living under a rock, start binge-watching Netflix’s Bridgerton, a regency romantic period series produced by Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland and created by Showrunner Chris Van Dusen based on the best-selling author of Julia Quinn novels.

Bridgerton is not only a phenomenon in the US but globally and Netflix released the latest numbers for the show and it’s not a surprise to me. Globally, viewers watched* Season 1 of Bridgerton by 82 million households. And remember the show premiered on December 25, 2020. That’s just 28 days. Compared that number to the former number 1 at 76 million households, Witcher (never saw it but it is on my watch list.

Since I binge-watched the show, I have gone down the rabbit hole of reading every story and interview about the show. But and I don’t know why I should have gone straight to the producer of the show’s website, Shondaland. I bet you are like me and forgot Shonda Rhimes created a website.

So who is going to have all the original behind the scenes “Day In the Life Series”  content about Bridgerton but Shondaland. There are many which I will not name but I just watched the Day in the Life with Bridgerton author Julia Quinn‘s on set visit. You rarely ever hear or see from the writer once their book gets picked by Hollywood so it was fun to get those tidbits of her being approached by Shondaland to produce her book. She even gets to sit with headphones on and all and watch scenes be filmed.  And if you love pomp and circumstance, you will love “Inside the Balls“.

Bridgerton fans head to Shondaland for all the Behind The Scenes series on the show. That’s what I will be doing.

Disclosure: This is an unsponsored post and I have no affiliation with Netflix or Shondaland (I wish.) Opinions are 100% my own.
